OneDA
Reform
Agenda
The Department of Agriculture has implemented the “whole of the agriculture and fisheries sector approach” which is important in transforming the Philippine agriculture and fishery sector into a modernized and industrialized sector. To fuel this transformation, the Department of Agriculture will implement the OneDA Reform Agenda.

The OneDA Reform Agenda, which is comprised of four (4) Pillars and 18 Key Strategies, is an effort of the Department of Agriculture to align its resources and programs as well as encourage investments and stimulate innovations to ensure the achievement of the sector outcomes especially in attaining an agriculture sector growth of 2.5% per year.
The reform agenda also aims to guide the DA operating units in unifying and harmonizing objectives, strategies and programs.
It is expected that the DA Regional Field Offices (RFOs) will lead in integrating the agri and fishery plan of programs and projects in the region as well as harmonize the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects. The RFOs will ensure the active engagement of partners (i.e. LGUs, private sector etc) and stakeholders (farmers/fishers cooperatives and associations, traders, millers, processors, importers etc).
